Alan Carty has worked in automation since graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. For more than 11 years, Alan worked for a large independent Rockwell-Automation distributor where he held positions including: Automation Specialist, Automation Sales and Operations Manager. Mark Brewster has worked in the automation control field for 20 years. His career began after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. Mark has worked for OEM’s and Control System Integrators as a Field Engineer, Project Manager, Remote Office Startup, and PLC SCADA/HMI Programmer. Dave Alexander has worked in industrial automation, computers and communications since graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech. Most recently, prior to starting at automationtechies, Dave worked for more than 12 years for Rockwell-Automation where he held positions including: Area Manager, Communications, Area Manager PLC/HMI and Senior Account Manager. Dave has an extensive background in industrial communications technologies, SCADA, PLC/DCS controls, I/O subsystems, drive systems and industrial motor control. Krista Nielsen has been in the automation and validation fields since graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in 1999. In 2005, Krista also obtained her Masters of Business Administration degree from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. She joined automationtechies in 2006 as a technical recruiter after spending five years working at Praxair, Inc. where she held roles in validation and control system engineering.  This background provides Krista with an understanding of the needs of clients and candidates in the automation industry allowing her to facilitate the recruiting process.
